2nd ODI: Black Caps beat Men in Blue by 22 runs, take 2-0 lead

Auckland: New Zealand produced a clinical all-round performance to beat India by 22 runs in second ODI, taking an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three match series at Eden Park, here on Saturday.
Chasing a target of 274, India were bowled out for 251-10  in 48.3 overs to suffer their second successive defeat. India had lost the first match by four wickets.Ravindra Jadeja top-scored with a 73-ball 55, while Shreyas Iyer made 52 from 57 balls for India. 
 
By virtue of the defeat, India suffered their first bilateral series defeat against the Black Caps in six years.Hamish Bennett (2/58), Tim Southee (2/41), Kyle Jamieson (2/42) and Colin de Grandhomme (2/54) took two wickets each for the Kiwis. 
 
Earlier, put in to bat, Martin Guptill and Ross Taylor smashed half-centuries, as New Zealand survived a mid-innings collapse, to post a competitive 273 for 8 in their 50 overs.(UNI)
