Hyderabad: Child, who was injured in a stampede during the premier of Pushpa-2 movie at Sandhya theatre at RTC crossroads recently, continues to remain in PICU (Paediatric Intensive Care Unit), needing mechanical ventilation with minimal support, according to a health bulletin released by KIMS Cuddles here on Sunday.
In a release, Dr Chetan R Mundada and Dr Vishnu Tej Pudi, said that his vital parameters are stable, he is tolerating feeds well.
He has intermittent fever spikes and his sensorium continues to be altered with frequent dystonic movements, they said.
"We are closely monitoring his neurological status," the doctors added.
Tollywood actor Allu Arjun was among three accused connected to the tragic incident at Sandhya theatre, where a stampede resulted in the death of 37-year-old Revathi and her eight-year-old son was critically hurt. He was hospitalized at KIMS Cuddles, Secunderabad area in the city.
The incident took place on December four when a large number of fans thronged the Sandhya theatre at RTC X roads here to have a glimpse of the actor.
On December five, a case was booked against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management under sections 105 and 118(1) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at the Chikkadpally police station based on the complaint lodged by the deceased woman's family.
After his arrest in this case on Friday last, the actor was produced before a city court, which sent him to judicial custody.
While Arjun was being taken to Chanchalguda Central Prison following the court ruling, the Telangana High Court granted him an interim bail for four weeks.
Though the actor was granted interim bail on Friday, he was released on Saturday morning following the completion of his bail procedures.
