New Delhi: Bollywood's legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan's film "Shoebite," which has been in limbo for 12 years, might finally see the light of day.
Director Shoojit Sarkar directed "Shoebite" with Amitabh Bachchan in 2012. Due to various controversies, the film has not been released yet. After "Shoebite," Shoojit Sarkar went on to direct films like "Pink," "Piku," and "Gulabo Sitabo" with Amitabh Bachchan. Sarkar expressed his desire for the release of "Shoebite."
"Shoebite" is very close to my heart," Sarkar said. "I want everyone to see how Amitabh Bachchan poured his heart and soul into this film. There is no overdramatization in 'Shoebite,' just expressions that need to be understood peacefully."
"Shoebite" marked my first collaboration with Amitabh Bachchan," Sarkar added. "In this film, Amitabh Bachchan won't have many dialogues but will express more through his actions. We are working hard to untangle things, but it's quite challenging. I hope we find a solution and can release 'Shoebite' soon."
