Steaming platforms are in form of its life and have gone from strength to strength. With a whole host of big shows and movies coming out, the streaming party is about to begin. With shows and movies like Bang Baang, The White Tiger, The Family Man 2 and Aarya 2, OTT platforms are set to hit the ground running in 2021. Our 2021 just got a bit better after these huge announcements. With the effect of pandemic still being felt OTT platforms are set to bring top notch content right to people’s home and people surely must be excited.

The White Tiger

The crime/drama genre movie is another much awaited piece of content coming our way. Releasing on January 22nd the movie focuses on the life of a driver who uses his wit to escape poverty and make it to the top. With names like Priyanka Chopra, Rajkummar Rao and Sanjay Manjrekar alongside Adarsh Gourav in the star cast, only add to the already exciting atmosphere around the film. The trailer was a mix of bit of everything with a few jokes and an honest look at the jammed up way the world works with certain less privileged people having it more tougher than the others. It will make for an interesting viewing surely.

Bang Baang

Mr. Faisu (Faisal Shaikh) and Ruhi Singh come together in the action genre series. With action packed scenes and power packed performances, Bang Baang is set to be one of the biggest and best series this year. Ruhi Singh who was selected from amongst 1500 people after audition will be seen playing a brave cop in the series who is kicking and throwing around punches at the bad guys. Mr. Faisu, her love interest to be, plays an innocent man in troubled situation person’s role. The intriguing trailer has fans in awe. The action sequences and the mystery around the series’s story are quite captivating. ALTBalaji may have a real winner at their hands with this one. Fans have been anticipating the show’s release for quite a while now and it will surely open to record breaking views. The show will be available to stream on ALTbalaji and ZEE5 from 25th of January.

The Family Man Season 2

With over a year since this action thriller series graced the OTT space, the wait for season two has been long. he highly-anticipated second season of Amazon Prime Video’s The Family Man is available to stream since January 14, 2021. Starring Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani Iyer, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Sharad Kelkar and Zarin Shihab in key roles. Created by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K, The Family Man Season 1 will take you straight into the double life of Srikant Tiwari, filled with mystery and suspense at every turn. The Family Man Season 1 ends on a pulsating note while the upcoming season promises to pack a similar punch.

Aarya 2

Marking her comeback, Sushmita Sen’s web series Aarya is soon coming back with a new season on the streaming platform. The actress and director Ram Madhvani announced the same on an Instagram live session. Aarya premiered on Disney+Hotstar on June 19, 2020.
