Black flags, slogans greet Shahrukh at MP's Ratlam

Ratlam: Black flags and slogans today greeted Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan – who arrived at the Ratlam Railway Station in Madhya Pradesh as part of a train trip from Mumbai to Delhi to promote his coming film ‘Raees’.

Hundreds of fans thronged the station since last night hoping to lay eyes on their favourite star.
Elaborate security arrangements were also put in place at the station.However, Shahrukh, who arrived on board the August Kranti Express, did not come out of the train exasperating his admirers who started raising slogans against him.As the train resumed its journey after a halt of 10 minutes, a few people caught a glimpse of the actor standing at a train door and waving his hands.

Meanwhile, a large number of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) workers – who were present at the station – waved black flags and raised anti-Shahrukh slogans.Shahrukh had decided not to venture out of train coaches at stations after a youth was killed in a stampede caused by his fans at the Vadodara Station in Gujarat.His media officer Sonali Madane said that the star could plan another programme to meet his fans. He did not come out of the train in the interest of his admirers. (UNI)
