Bollywood actresses campaign for SP, BSP candidates in Kanpur

Kanpur: Campaigning for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections reaches at its peak here in Kanpur city and Dehat when Bollywood actresses ask to vote in favour of Bahujan Samaj Party and Samajwadi Party candidates. Bollywood diva Mahima Chaudhary campaigned for ruling SP candidate while “Maine Pyar Kiya” fame Bhagya Shri urged to vote for the BSP candidate. Mahima Chaudhary appealed to vote for Congress-SP alliance candidate Amitabh Bajpai in Aryanagar assembly area.

Praising UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, Ms Chaudhary said “Akhilesh ji has done good work in UP and public should vote SP-Congress alliance again to continue that saga of development”. While campaigning for BSP candidate from Govindnagar assembly seat Nirmal Tewari, Bollywood actress Bhagya Shri asked to vote in favour of the BSP. She said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi forced public to stand in queues after demonetisation of higher currency. She appealed that public should vote for the BSP. (UNI)
