Day 6: Raees becomes first 100 crore movie, Kaabil the first hit of 2017

Mumbai: Despite the Monday blues effect on collection, there was something to cheer about for both the movies. The Sharukh khan starrer Raees becomes the first movie in 2017 to touch the 100 crore mark while the 2017 began on a happy note for Kaabil actor Hrithik Roshan as the flick is the first official hit of 2017 grossing almost double than its production cost.
The collection of both the movies on Monday was almost even stevens. Raees managed to earn 12.9 crore on Monday and Kaabil earned 12 crore on Monday. The gross earnings of Raees is now 106.14 crore while that of Kaabil is 12 crore.
