An offical announcement was made by the makers about the big unveil and bring in 'Adheera', unveiling the brutality on 29th July 2020, marking Sanjay Dutt's birthday.  On 25th July 2020, the director of K. G. F 2 had shared on his social media that after a long wait finally a new update related to K. G. F 2 will be releasing soon.

The announcement of Adheera has truly created quite a stir among the netizens and as the character is supposed to be yet a brutal one, Sanjay Dutt is the best fit as the actor has in the past brought strong characters in Agneepath of Kancha Cheena and in Panipat of Ahmad Shah Abdali which induced chills down the spine of the viewers.
