'Fukrey Returns' collects Rs 8.1-cr on opening day

Mumbai: Rising on the buzz around the film, the excitement around the 'Fukrey' brand and performances by the cast, 'Fukrey Returns' has earned Rs 8.1-cr on its opening day, trade experts said on Saturday. According to trade expert Komal Nahata,''RS 8.10-cr is the first day net collection total of 'FukreyReturns' That’s absolutely sensational.''Trade experts say that the opening day earnings of the film were commendable considering the scale on which the film has been made.

''The collections by the film on its opening day are outstanding considering the scale on which the film has been made,''Nahata said.Directed by Mrighdeep Lamba, 'Fukrey Returns' is the sequel of the 2013 hit 'Fukrey'.The film, produced by Excel entertainment of Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, features Ali Fazal, Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma and Richa Chaddha in key roles.(UNI)
