Ishaan Khatter to play lead in RSVP's 1971 Indo- Pak war film 'Pippa'

New Delhi:Producer Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur join hands for a 1971 war film titled 'Pippa', starring Ishaan Khatter.Based on the book 'The Burning Chaffees'by Balram Singh Mehta, the movie will be directed by Raja Krishna Menon.
Ishaan will be seen essaying the role of Brigadier Balaram Singh Mehta.Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter on Friday, Ronnie said,"Tomorrow as we celebrate Independence Day, I am pleased to announce our next True Story - of India's pride, bravery and victory in the 1971 India - Pak war. #IshaanKhattar essays the role of #BrigadierBalaramSinghMehta. Directed by @RajaMenon, in cinemas late next year."
 
Filmmaker Raja Krishna Menon said,"An honour to narrate stories of our brave soldier's victory, valour and sacrifice.
