Kantara to be screened at United Nations on March 17

New Delhi: Now is definitely a very exciting time for Indian cinema with world’s attention on them and the well-deserved international acclaim.
Before the jubilation for RRR's Oscar triumph for ‘Naatu Naatu’ could die down, Rishab Shetty's ‘Kantara’ has already made headlines around the world. ‘Kantara’ which has had a successful run in several languages around the world, is due to be exhibited on March 17 at the United Nations in Geneva, at Pathe Balexert in Hall No 13.
Writer, director and actor Rishab Shetty has already reached Geneva and has completed the oral submission.
Taking to social media, the centre for globe affairs and public policy shared, “@shetty_rishab will be talking about Indian Cinema's role in fostering discussions on environment, climate & conservation, at UNHRC Session in Geneva. Soon, the production house will be back in theatres with movies like ‘Yuva’ and Prabhas starrer ‘Salaar’, both being the highly anticipated films of this year.
Kantara was released in the Kannada version and Hindi version on September 30 and October 14 respectively. The film is written and directed by Rishab Shetty. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur and Chaluve Gowda, under Hombale Films, the film features Rishab Shetty, Sapthami Gowda, and Kishore Kumar G in pivotal roles. (UNI)
