Kartik-Kiara’s ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ receives marginal dip after brisk start at BO

Mumbai:Sajid Nadiadwala and Namah Pictures's ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha', starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, has profoundly booked its phenomenal opening at the box office.While the audience has been expecting a pure musical romantic love story, the film has succeeded

in bringing happiness to the theaters. As the film was released on Thursday, it has successfully attracted the audience to the theaters, resulting in collecting great numbers at the box office with Rs 9.25 crore on its first day.

'Satyaprem Ki Katha' has brought back the theaters and has proved to be opened at a relishing note for the distributors. The theaters have certainly seen a rush of the audience that has made the film open bigger than a lot of biggies with its first-day collection of Rs 9.25 crore on the first day. With this, Kartik has booked the third-highest opening of his career.

However Friday being a working day has impacted the collections of movie. A marginal drop of 2 crores have been witnessed as the flick earns 7 crores. However the prospects of the movie looks bright for the first weekend.The Gross collections in the first two days stands at 16.25 crores.

It is directed by Sameer Vidwans, and also stars Gajraj Rao, Supriya Pathak, Rajpal Yadav, Shikha Talsania among others in pivotal roles.(UNI)
