Megastar Chiranjeevi enters Guinness World Records for 24000 dance moves in 537 songs in Indian cinema

Hyderabad: Megastar Konidela Chiranjeevi adds one more feather to his cap as he is now entered the prestigious Guinness World Records.

Earlier this year, Chiranjeevi has got the second highest civilian award of India – Padma Vibhushan, India's Second highest civilian honour.

Recognizing Chiranjeevi as the ‘Most Prolific Film Star in the Indian Film Industry’, the award was presented by Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan at ala special event held here on Sunday attended by Guinness officials.

The record-giving ceremony was also graced by producers and directors , who travelled closely with Chiranjeevi throughout his career.

Over his 45-year career, Chiranjeevi has delivered more than 150 films, mesmerizing audiences with his signature dance performances and acting prowess.

The new Guinness World Record acknowledges his 24,000 dance moves in 537 songs across 156 films, in over four decades in Indian cinema.

He made his debut into Telugu films on September 22nd in 1978 and he has made it to The Guinness World Records after 46 years.

On the work front, Chiranjeevi’s next film is Vishwambara and the film is slated for January 10th, 2025 release.

On micro blogging platform 'X', Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said "It is a matter of pride movment for Telugu people that popular movie actor Mr Konidela Chiranjeevi got a place in the Guinness Book of World Records" "My Congratulations to them on this auspicious occasion", the CM tweeted.
