Newlyweds Sugandha Mishra, Sanket Bhonsle booked for violating COVID protocol

Phagwara: In a significant development Comedian cum Singer Sugandha Mishra, who was married with comedian Sanket Bhonsle in Club Cabbanna in Phagwara on April 26 has been embroiled in deep controversy as Phagwara Police headed by Superintendent of the Police Sarabjit Singh Bahia have registered a case under section 188 IPC and Disaster Management Act against the Bollywood Star, her husband and Cabanna Manager Deepak Kumar under Corona Safety Protocol on the charges of violating the restrictions imposed by district magistrate.
Senior Superintendent of the Police Kanwardeep Kaur while confirming it told UNI here today that the manager of Cabanna has been arrested.
SP Bahia said that one video from the wedding went viral on social media and came to the notice of the police and cops came into action as the crowd attending the wedding was not permitted.
He said it has come to the notice of the police that around 100 persons joined the wedding ceremony while only 40 persons were permitted at that time. (UNI)
