'Prithviraj' song 'Hari Har' celebrates 'daredevil spirit of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan'

Mumbai: Celebrating the tale of courage, valour, honour, bravery and sacrifice of the great emperor Prithviraj Chauhan, played by Bollywood mega star Akshay Kumar in his much anticipated flick “Prithviraj”, a new song from the movie has been unveiled titled "Hari Har”.
The new song seemingly echoes the patriotic valour and strength of character which exemplified the persona of Prithviraj Chauhan, with a rousing atmosphere bursting with energy and boasting great visuals and overall production.
The song is sung by Adarsh Shinde and is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and the lyrics are by Varun Grover.
Taking to Instagram Akshay Kumar shared a snippet of the song and wrote “A saga of valor and bravery. Experience the power of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan in #HariHar song. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Celebrate Samrat #Prithviraj Chauhan with #YRF50 only at a theatre near you on 3rd June.”
Speaking of the song Akshay Kumar said in a statement “According to me, Hari Har is the soul of the film and salutes the daredevil spirit of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan who sacrificed everything to protect his motherland from the merciless invader, Mohammad of Ghor. Hari Har is brimming with the mighty king's resolve to protect India which is why I connect so deeply with the song.”
He further added "'Hari Har' is a song that I fell in love with right from the first music listening exercise. Even today, I listen to it very frequently because it is one of the most patriotic songs that I have heard in my entire acting career."

Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi the film is inspired by the text of Prithviraj Raso, the epic poem by Chand Bardai. “I want to say that in my 30 years of career, I am doing such a big historical for the first time. It's a matter of pride for me that I was offered this film. Mera jeevan safal hogaya ke mujhe yeh mauka mila. (My is fulfilled now that I got this great opportunity ),” Akshay previously said at the trailer launch.
