Mumbai: Renowned South Indian filmmaker Sukumar has lauded superstar Allu Arjun for his unwavering emotional commitment to every role he undertakes.
As the countdown begins for the world television premiere of blockbuster film "Pushpa 2: The Rule" on Zee Cinema Saturday, Sukumar offered an intimate glimpse into their creative journey.
The film stars Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in key roles and is helmed by Sukumar.
Recounting two-decade-long collaboration with Allu Arjun, Sukumar spoke with candid admiration, "I have seen Allu Arjun grow both as a human being and an artist. The relationship between us is based on the exchange of creative energy.
"We think for hours about how we can give our best, and he doesn't merely act, he inhabits the character. Whether it is a slight gesture of the eyes or a slight tremor in the voice, he presents every emotion with full intensity,: he said.
Sukumar added, "The response to Pushpa 2: The Rule has been phenomenal, especially in the Hindi markets where it was the biggest movie with a record-breaking box office.
