The 42 year old actor is set to reunite with Bhansali for his next directorial 'Love and War', a reunion 17 years in the making.
Bhansali's Love and War boasts of a stellar cast, with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal leading the charge.
At the 55th International Film Festival, Ranbir Kapoor shared his admiration for Bhansali and his excitement about their renewed partnership. "I am extremely excited. He is my godfather. Everything I know about films, everything I know about acting, it is something I learnt from him." He further added,
"He hasn’t changed at all. He is extremely hard-working. All he thinks about is his movies. He just wants to speak about the character, he wants you to create, do something different", Kapoor remarked.
For the first time ever Vicky Kaushal, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will share the screen in 'Love and War'. The project is slated to hit theatres on March 20, 2026.
