Mumbai: The movie “Sanju” matched up to the hype and euphoria around it and shattered many records in the first weekend itself. The movie opened up with a staggering 34 crores. The collection was raised to 38 crore on Saturday. The movie made the most on Sunday and earned 46 crore rs. Thus it went past 120 crores in three days (First weekend).
Rajkumar Hirani's cinematic excellence to make a film on Sanjay Dutt's colourful life journey has got the film humongous response also marking to be Hirani's highest too.
Written and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film will also stars an ensemble cast in addition to Ranbir Kapoor which includes Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal, Sonam Kapoor and Dia Mirza amongst others.
