Small budget movie "Badhaai Ho" reaches 125 crore at BO

Mumbai: After Stree, Badhaai Ho  has done extremely well at box office despite its low budget. Ayushmann Khurana and Sanya Malhotra are in the lead role.

The Amit Sharma-directed film is a comedy drama about a middle age couple, played by Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao, facing unexpected pregnancy.

Production banner Junglee Pictures took to Twitter to make the announcement as the film hit the mark at net box office India collections. The movie has completed a one month long run at box office. The sluggish performance of Thugs of Hindostan has given more screen space to "Badhaai Ho" in Diwali Holidays. The domestic collection of the movie has reached 126 crore.
