Sonam slams media over cooking stories of her 'cat fights'

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor has slammed a section of the media for publishing stories on the so called 'cat fights on the sets of 'Veere Di Wedding', that has been co produced by her sister Rhea Kapoor. In a post on the social media, Sonam expressed her disappointment at several websites pushing “this tired patriarchal concept of women cat fighting into our film" 

Terming the stories on the so called 'cat fights' on sets of the film ''false'', Sonam wrote,''Dear websites, you can put out as many ‘blind items’ (a.k.a gossip you were too lazy to fact check) as you like pitting women against each other, it may get you clicks but it won’t be the truth. Must you insist on shoving this tired patriarchal concept of women cat fighting into our film (which is not about a road trip) as if grown, intelligent women have nothing better to do. ''
