New Delhi: Bollywood star Sonu Sood, known for his humanitarian work, has decided to do his lot for Punjab's flood victims.
Sonu, who bagged an award from United Nations Development Programme for standing by the suffering people during the COVID-19 pandemic, published a message on his Twitter account offering to help the flood-affected in Punjab.
"My dear Punjab, my heart hurts for you, I can't afford to do nothing as the flood devastates the place where I was born and raised. I've received a lot from Punjab, and now it's my turn to return the favour,"
"Together, we shall weather this storm, rebuild, and emerge stronger for our fellow Punjabis in need" posted Sonu, who completes 50 three days from now.
In his tweet, he also made the Sood Charity Foundation's phone number, 78886-75107, public.
