New Delhi: One of the most popular and loved singers of the nation currently, Stebin Ben has joined hands with Bhamla Foundation for their campaign against single use of plastic under the cause to create awareness against plastic pollution.
The singing sensation will not only extend his support to the cause banking upon his huge fan-base but also has crooned the theme song for the campaign. Titled ‘Tik Tik Plastic’, the music video will be unveiled at the special event which will be held in Mumbai on the World Environment Day, ie June 5.
Starring prominent personalities from the entertainment industry, the music video also stars Vidya Balan, Alia Bhatt, Rajkummar Rao, Neeti Mohan amongst others, sung by Stebin Ben.
Talking about the collaboration, Stebin said in a statement, “Despite several measures over the years to minimise the use of plastic, the rampant usage of it has been a primary factor in contributing to the pollution of environment. As a responsible citizen, it is our collective duty to not only ensure minimal use of plastic and opt for alternatives, but also create awareness to promote others to avoid using plastic.”
