The downgrading of the IMDB rating of "Patal Lok" has just begun

Mumbai:The investigative thriller ‘Paatal Lok’ is being hailed as a must-watch if the reviews from the trade analyst are to go by. The crime thriller stars Jaideep Ahlawat in a lead role along with Abhishek Banerjee and Neeraj Kabi in pivotal roles. 

Despite creating a buzz, Many netizens are miffed with the alleged anti-Hindu plot and sequences shown in the entire series. Ever since Patal Lok was released on 15th May it started trending on twitter and became a hot cake for Main Stream Media to discuss further.

However, A large section of the society is demanding a ban on Patal Lok for portraying the majority as the aggressor and minority as the victim. While many have taken this too far and started downgrading the ratings of "Patallok" deliberately. 

Eventually, the fall in the IMDB rating of Patallok has been witnessed but not drastic. The rating of Patallok was 8.7 on 17th May and the latest we hear that Patallok now has an 8.0 rating, a marginal decrease. 

It will be quite interesting to see if PatalLok's IMDB ratings slump like movies that faced backlash for the offensive content. This has become a modern-day protest and many a time producers have mocked or displayed their anger on this deliberate damage on micro blogging site "Twitter' .
