This teen girl will star in movie based on paper leak 'Marksheet'

Mumbai: Miss Teen Universe 2017 Srishti Kaur is all set to star opposite actor Imran Zahid in Harish Vyas directorial 'Marksheet'.Srishti is the first Indian to be crowned Miss Teen Universe from India at the sixth edition of the pageant held in the Ruben Dario National Theatre in Managua, Nicaragua.
The makers of the film had decided to cast a fresh face opposite Zahid for 'Marksheet', which isn't just a subject based film but would also be a love story. 'Under the creative guidance of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, who's also a mentor to Zahid, the makers zeroed in on 20-year-old Shristi who will play a fashion student,' said Suhrita Sengupta, a creative team member.
"Winning a pageant at such a level definitely indicates that the person is having not only a beautiful face but also a sensitive brain,' Suhrita said. Srishti is nervous as well as excited about the movie.
"The society has celebrated my being by making me the queen of universe now it is my turn to contribute for society. 'Marksheet' is a film which addresses the most pertinent issue of our education system a part from being a commercial film it has taken up an issue that raises significant concerns of every house hold. These are the reason that convinced me to take up this challenge,' Srishti said.
Director Harish said,'Confluence of beauty and brain is rare phenomenon if not the rarest here we had a role which demanded both intelligence and aesthetics and our search navigated us to Srishti.''Marksheet', inspired by the tale of a young boy who ran a racket leaking question papers for nation-wide exams, will mostly be shot around Delhi University while parts of it might be in NCR.
