BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut deleted a “personal opinion” on social media about US President Donald Trump who had asked Apple CEO Tim Cook to not build iPhones in India.
In a post on X, the Mandi MP said, “Respected national president Shri @JPNadda ji called and asked me to delete the tweet I had posted regarding Trump asking Apple CEO Tim Cook not to manufacture in India. I regret posting that very personal opinion of mine, as per instructions I immediately deleted it from Instagram as well."
Respected national president Shri @JPNadda ji called and asked me to delete the tweet I had posted regarding Trump asking Apple CEO Tim Cook not to manufacture in India.
I regret posting that very personal opinion of mine, as per instructions I immediately deleted it from…
Earlier that day, Ranaut had said in now deleted post, “What could be the reason of this love loss?1) He is American president but world's most loved leader is Indian Prime Minister. 2) Trump's second term but Indian Prime Minister's third term.3) undoubtedly Trump is alpha male but our PM is sab Alpha male ka baap. What do you think? This is personal jealousy or diplomatic insecurity?”
Recently, the actress was in the midst of a controversy after sharing an Instagram reel featuring a Pakistani song.
The video, filmed at Jaipur’s Rambagh Palace during her visit on May 10, shows Kangana dancing with a peacock and plucking raw mangoes — all set to ‘Dum Naal Dum Bharangi Ranjheya Ve...’ sung by Pakistan’s musical duo Zain-Zoheb.
While the visuals were appreciated by many, a section of users has taken strong objection to the use of a Pakistani track, especially given Kangana’s previously sharp criticism of Pakistan.
Adding to the outrage, @abdulakhledkhan said, “She is using Pakistani song right after India was humiliated by Pakistan Army. Boycott this lady.” User @mp_mani_1313 questioned her political maturity, posting, “How did you become a Member of Parliament….”.
