New Delhi: Noted filmmaker, producer, and music composer Vishal Bhardwaj on Wednesday condoled the untimely demise of singer Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK.
In a Twitter post, Bhardwaj remembered his ‘chhota Bhaiyaa’ (younger brother) and penned a heart wrenching note for him. He wrote that both of them came together to Mumbai from Delhi, and they had tasted the success together with the movie ‘Maachis’.
“Mera chhota Bhaiyaa. Hum saath aaye thay dilli se. Humara pehla break pehli film pehli kaamyaabi ek saath- MAACHIS (Chhodh aaye hum wo galiyan. He also sang the 2nd music in Lata ji’s pani pani re) Anginat lamhe.. anginat yaadein.. Bepanah dard..Bichhdey sabhee baari baari,” Bhardwaj wrote in Hindi.

KK had recorded songs in languages like Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Bengali, Assamese and Gujarati. He had recorder over 700 songs. He had also sung songs of several television serials. (UNI)
