WATCH - Mumbai Police launches video for Nirbhaya Squad, directed by Rohit Shetty

Mumbai: Director Rohit Shetty directed a special video for Nirbhaya Squad, a new division initiated by the Mumbai Police, to keep a check on eve-teasing and harassment of women.

Amitabh Bachchan has done the voice over for the video.

Mumbai Police launched the video on Wednesday via Twitter. It depicts the function of Nirbhaya Squad, a dedicated squad of women officials.

The video assures women who feel unsafe, giving them the option of taking help at number '103'. It plays the track of Rohit's blockbuster "Sooryavanshi" as the background music.

Many Bollywood celebrities, including Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif, Rajkummar Rao and Arjun Kapoor have showered praises on the video.

Actor Amitabh wrote, "'Nirbhaya Squad' is a great initiative by Mumbai Police for women's safety. In case of an emergency or to report any women related crimes, dial 103, a dedicated helpline number." (UNI)
