India logs 2,541 new COVID cases, 30 deaths in last 24 hrs

New Delhi: India reported 2,541 new Covid-19 cases, the Union Health Ministry said on Monday.
With this, the tally touched 4,30,60,086, while the death toll stood at 5,22,223 with 30 more deaths reported.
Total 91,862 more people recuperated from the disease, taking the total tally to 4,25,21,341. The recovery rate stands at 98.75 per cent.
The active caseload currently stands at 16,522, the figures showed.
As per the bulletin, 83.50 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far.
India has administered 187.71 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive. (UNI)
