New cases of Corona across country hits 1.25 lakh mark again

New Delhi:The outbreak of Corona Virus (Covid-19) epidemic is not taking place in the country and for the second consecutive day the number of new cases has crossed 1.25 lakh and 69,289 active cases have increased during the last 24 hours Reached 9,79,608.
According to data released by the Union Health Ministry on Friday morning, 1,31,968 new cases were registered in the country. With this, the number of infected has gone to one crore 30 lakh 60 thousand 542. At the same time, 61,899 patients have become healthy during this period, in which 1,19,13,292 patients have been coronated so far.
 
Active cases have increased from 69,289 to 9,79,608. With the death of 780 more patients in the same period, the number of people who died from this disease has increased to 1,67,642.
 
The recovery rate in the country has come down partially to 91.22 per cent and the rate of active cases has increased to 7.50 per cent, while the death rate has come down to 1.28 per cent.
 
Maharashtra tops Corona's active cases and the state has grown 19,780 active cases to 5,22,762 during the last 24 hours.
 
During this period, 36,130 more patients became healthy in the state, which together the number of those who beat Corona has reached 2649757, while the death of 376 more patients has increased the toll to 57028.

56K cases in Maharashtra

Meanwhile, during the past 24 hours total of 56,286 fresh cases of COVID-19 were registered across the state taking it's cumulative tally of infections to 32,29,547.
 
The state also registered 376 more deaths, taking the overall death toll to 57,028.Meanwhile, a total of 36,130 patients recovered and were discharged from the various health facilities of the state.
 
This takes the total number of recoveries to 26,49,757 across Maharashtra.The state's recovery rate currently stands at 82.05 per cent and the fatality rate is 1.77 per cent.
 
At present there are 5,21,317 active patients across the state undergoing treatment at different COVID-19 centres and hospitals, added the officials.
 
Eight districts of Maharashtra's Marathwada region registered 6,608 more cases of COVID-19 and 84 fatalities during the past 24 hours, informed health authorities here on Friday.(UNI)
