Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said he had instructed the country's military to "respond with force" to the missile launch from Iran toward Israel's north, violating the ceasefire between the two sides.
Far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich also responded to the Iranian missile launch.
"Tehran will shake," Smotrich posted on his X account.
The Israeli army said one or two missiles launched from Iran toward the north of Israel had been intercepted as explosions were heard in the area.
