Tirumala: With the nine-day Srivari Brahmotsavam to begin here from September 27 and expecting huge footfall of devotees, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has decide to provide darshan for common devotees and cancelled all privileged darshans.

After a gap of two years, due to Covid Pandemic, TTD is fully gearing up to conduct Srivari Brahmotsava Vahana sevas on Mada streets with the participation of pilgrim public.

A release said, TTD has cancelled VIP Break darshan (except for protocol VIPs in person), privileged darshans including for infant-parents, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Defence personnel, senior citizens and physically handicapped during the ensuing Brahmotsavam.

Besides, the arjita sevas, Rs.300 SED tickets and Srivani and all other donor trusts also remained cancelled.

With regard to accommodation, TTD has decided for online allotment of 50 per cent of rooms and for others through current counters at Tirumala on first come first served.

On September 30, October 1 and October 2, TTD has cancelled allotment of rooms both in On-line and Offline even for the donors keeping in view the heavy influx for Garuda seva.

As the sacred Peratasi month is also coinciding with annual Brahmotsavam, with heavy rush being anticipated, TTD has appealed to devotees to book their accommodation in Tirupati, as the rooms available in Tirumala are limited. (UNI)
