Sri Jagannath temple darshan time revised. Details inside

Puri: The Sri Jagannath temple administration has-issued a new standard operating procedure (SOP) revising the darshan time of the deities from 5 30 AM to 9 30 AM except on Sundays.

Anticipating a huge rush of devotees on new year, the temple will remain closed for devotees on December 31 and January 1 to contain the pandemic.

The devotees will enter through Lions gate after furnishing a complete vaccination certificate or negative report of RT-PCR test conducted within 96 hours.

They will enter in a queue maintaining social distance and adhering to Covid appropriate norms.

The devotees could partake Mahaprasad in the Anand Bazar of the temple complex.

The new SOP has been enforced from Thursday. (UNI)
