Washington:President Donald Trump's former campaign advisor and onetime White House communications director Hope Hicks will testify before the House Judiciary Committee behind closed doors next week, the committee's chairman said.
According to a statement by Chairman Jerrold Nadler on Wednesday, the interview will include questions about Hicks' time on Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and in the White House, reported CNBC.
Earlier last week, Hicks agreed to supply documents from Trump's campaign to the committee, after the White House instructed her not to cooperate with a subpoena from the House panel.
However, it is not clear if Hicks will answer the committee's questions.''Ms Hicks understands that the Committee will be free to pose questions as it sees fit, including about her time on the Trump Campaign and her time in the White House," Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep Jerry Nadler, D-N Y, said in a statement.
