Posted on Hamas' official Telegram channel, the video appears to document part of a rescue operation by Al-Qassam fighters. In the footage, fighters are seen digging through the rubble of a collapsed tunnel using their hands and basic tools under difficult field conditions.
A barefoot individual, identified as an Israeli hostage, is shown being pulled from the debris, appearing exhausted and immobile. The video also shows the person receiving a respirator to assist with breathing.
No additional information regarding the individual's condition or identity was provided by Al-Qassam. The authenticity of the footage has not been independently verified, and the Israeli army has not commented on the video.
A few days ago, the Israeli military announced that it had targeted and bombed a network of tunnels across different areas of the Gaza Strip, describing them as being used for "military purposes."
