Beirut: Fighters of the Lebanese Shia movement Hezbollah have struck the Israeli military industrial complex Rafael north of the city of Haifa, the movement's press service said on Sunday.
"In response to the massacre conducted by hostile Israel in various areas of Lebanon on Tuesday and Wednesday, the Islamic resistance fighters launched Fadi-1, Fadi-2 and Katyusha missiles at the Rafael military industrial complex located … in Haifa’s north,” the movement said in a statement.
From September 17-18, pagers and walkie-talkies exploded in various parts of Lebanon. According to the country's health ministry, 37 people were killed and more than 3,000 injured as a result of the blasts. The Hezbollah movement and the Lebanese authorities blamed Israel for the incidents. Israeli authorities have neither confirmed nor denied their involvement.
