A statement issued by the ISPR said convicts were involved in attacks on personnel of law-enforcement agencies and killings of innocent citizens, according to The News International report. Pakistan has sent hundreds of terrorists to gallows since it lifted a moratorium on the capital punishment. The moratorium was lifted after a terrorist raid on Peshawar's Army Public School.
