Syrian President Assad, his wife test positive for COVID-19

Damascus: Syrian President Bashar Assad and his wife Asma have contracted COVID-19, the presidential office said on Monday.

“President Assad and Mrs. Asma Assad passed PCR test, the result showed infection with coronavirus,” the office said in a statement, adding that the president and his wife are in stable condition. (UNI)
