WATCH: Taliban militants enjoy merry-go-round at amusement park in Kabul

Kabul: Big, burly Afghan Taliban men attired in loose shalwar-kameez, with flowing turbans, were seen enjoying rides on a merry-go-round at an amusement park in Kabul, and also enjoying themselves at a gym, trying out the various equipment.

As the Taliban spread themselves across the city, after taking over Kabul on Sunday, the militants have been letting themselves go, as was apparent from the videos on social media.

At an amusement park, the Taliban men were sitting on the merry-go-round and enjoying themselves, and laughing as they sat in the bumper car rides with their cars bumping into each other.

At a gym in Kabul, which was bereft of its usual customers, the Taliban were seen trying out the various fitness equipment, with their Kalashnikovs kept nearby.

At both places, the usual Kabul crowds were conspicuously missing.

On Sunday, as the Taliban entered the Presidential palace, videos had emerged of the men sitting in the luxurious chairs and helping themselves to food. (UNI)
