Hanuman Temple inaugurated inside Kangra Police station; seniors officials perform Hawan and pooja

Kangra: Hanuman Jayanti was celebrated here with religious fervor and enthusiasm.
 
On this occasion, a Hanuman Temple was inaugurated inside the Kangra Police station with much fanfare and Bhajan and Kirtan.
 
Kangra Sub Divisional Police Officer Ankit Sharma told UNI that the temple was constructed within the Kangra police station premises and local people contributed to its construction.
 
Local women were singing bhajans and playing instruments in the Police station. A Hawan was performed in the police station on this occasion.
 
Local people thronged the temple with enthusiasm and residents from all walks of life were seen entering the police station to attend the function.
 
Kangra Sub Divisional Police Officer Ankit Sharma and SHO Kangra Sanjeev Kumar performed the Hawna and pooja in the temple.
 
Later on, Kangri Dham was served to the people who visited the Police station as Prasada.
Later in the day Kangra District Superintendent of Police Shalini Agnihotri also visited Kangra police station and paid obeisance in the newly inaugurated Hanuman temple.
 
Agnihotri said this temple will create a new holistic atmosphere in the police station and will help police personnel and officers to push themselves from Karma to Karma Yoga. The Spiritual waves from the temple will help police personnel perform their duties with more efficiency, fairly, and fearlessly.
