2 Pakistani militants killed in Srinagar encounter

Srinagar: Two Pakistani militants who were allegedly involved in a recent attack on CRPF personnel were killed in an encounter that erupted in Srinagar city centre on Sunday.
“Arms and ammunition including incriminating materials were also recovered”, Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar said in a tweet.
The gunfight erupted following security forces on a tip off cordoned off Bishember Nagar area in the morning. Soon after they reached a particular spot the militants hiding there opened fire and the security forces retaliated during which one militant was initially neutralized.
Another militant who was trapped inside was also gunned down, the security forces said and added the searches going on in the area.
