Mumbai: As many as 41 Govindas were injured in different incidents while breaking 'dahi handi' (earthen pot) during celebration of Janmashtami festival in Mumbai, sources in Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said on Tuesday.
BMC sources said that out of 41 injured Govindas, eight were admitted to government run hospitals and in private hospitals while treatment of 26 others is in process and seven were discharged.
Three Govindas received serious injuries while others sustained minor injuries, they added.
