Maldaha: As many as 500 members of different political parties from 15 blocks joined BJP here on Wednesday in the presence of party leader Mukul Roy, who handed each of them the BJP party flag. The ex-Trinamool leader joined the successful candidates of 2010 School Service Commission, who are on hunger strike for the past 25 days, demanding immediate appointment.
Mr. Roy assured the agitating students that he will discuss the issue with them and look into their matter. He said that change was taking over Bengal and its signs were palpable at the block level."Mamata Banerjee is not unaware that the waves of change are beginning to rise and that is why she cannot trust even her own shadow," Roy quipped.
He further said that Ms Banerjee's government is implementing fascist rule, and anyone who is not in her good books is framed."No matter how much she may dream of winning the next Assembly elections, BJP is going to form the government in West Bengal in 2021," Mr Roy said.Poking fun at the failing party administration and frequent inter party clashes, the ex-Trinamool master strategist said," Trinamool is now the party of jokers. The party administration at district level is falling apart. Here in Maldaha, two part leaders Sabitri and Krishnendu are at loggerheads."
"The condition of health, education and industry in the state is extremely poor. But, Mamata Banerjee is dreaming to be the Prime Minister of India; this, I can only say, is day dreaming," Mr Roy said adding that Trinamool Congress was in the condition to contest elections only from 40 seats, which explained why it wasn't possible for Ms Banerjee to fulfill her dreams to be at the helm of the country. After addressing the BJP workers in Maldaha, Mr Roy left for Balurghat.(UNI)
