After 33 hours long resistance, Sakinaka rape victim succumbs to her injuries

Mumbai: A 32 year old woman who was brutally raped in Mumbais Sakinaka area died after 33 hours battle for her life at hospital in the city, police said.
She was raped and assaulted at a parked tempo at a suburban area of SakiNaka on the intervening night of thrusday and Friday. The Sakinaka police found her lying unconscious in the tempo around 3:30 am. She was rushed to the Rajawadi Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries during the treatment.
The accussed first raped her and then inserted rod in her private parts. A 45 year old accused has been arrested in connection with the crime. Today morning, Police arrested two more accused in the connection with this case.
The Court has sent one of the rape accused to Police custody till 21st September.While the CM Uddhav Thackeray has spoken to the Mumbai Police Commissioner regarding the rape case, and said that the case would be taken in a fast track court. (UNI)
