After Ayodhya, Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura next on BJP's agenda: Dy UP CM

Lucknow: Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya on Wednesday created a political turmoil in the poll-bound state by stating that after the construction of a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya, now BJP's next focus is Shree Krishna Janmabhoomi is next on BJP's agenda.
In a series of tweets in Hindi, Maurya posted, "Ayodhya Kashi Bhavya Mandir Nirman Jari hai, Mathura ki Tyari hai" (As the construction of a grand temple in Ayodhya Kashi continues, next step is Mathura) "#Long live Rama, #jai_shiv_shambhu and #Jai_Shri_ Radhe_Krishna.
When contacted, Maurya refused to speak on the issue.
Several Hindu organisations have already filed petitions in Mathura and Varanasi, staking claim on the area of the Mosques adjoining Krishna Janmabhomi in Mathura and Gyanpapi Mosque near the Kashi Vishwanath temple. (UNI)
