After Surat, another jolt to Congress in Madhya Pradesh, Indore candidate Akshay Kanti Bam withdraws nomination
Indore: Congress candidate from Indore Lok Sabha seat Akshay Kanti Bam withdrew his nomination on Monday.
According to information received from the office of the Indore District Election Officer, Kanti has withdrawn his nomination.
Indore will go to the polls on May 13 in the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha elections. Today is the last date for the withdrawal of nominations in this Lok Sabha constituency.
The BJP has reposed faith in sitting MP Shankar Lalwani from here. In front of him, Congress had fielded Akshay Kanti Bam in the electoral field. Indore has been considered a BJP stronghold for a long time.
