Mr Yadav inquired about the health of Azam Khan, one of the founders of Samajwadi Party, from the Medanta Director, Dr. Rakesh Kapoor.Along with this, Mr Yadav also met the team of doctors treating Azam Khan. This team informed him that Azam Khan's health is improving.
The erstwhile UP CM had also called a team of doctors from Delhi to treat Azam Khan's health today. He flew a team of experienced doctors of Max Hospital by a Chartered aircraft from Delhi who are monitoring and keeping a watch on Azam Khan's health, along with doctors of Medanta Hospital, Lucknow.
Azam Khan, who was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Lucknow from Sitapur District Jail on Sunday last for treatment of infection with Coronavirus, is recovering.
He has been admitted to the ICU of Medanta Hospital while his son Abdullah Azam Khan, was admitted in the Covid ward.On the other hand, on the occasion of Eid Ul Fitr, special prayers were offered for the betterment of Azam Khan's health in Rampur.
Azam Khan's wife and MLA from Rampur Sadar, Dr. Tajin Fatma, said every festival is celebrated for joy. At present, due to Coronavirus infection, there is an atmosphere of devastation and sadness not only in Rampur district but also in the state and the entire country.
"There is no point in wishing Eid in such an environment. On the occasion of this Eid, I want to say that you should pray to get rid of the country from the epidemic like Corona after the Eid prayers," she said.(UNI)
