Andhra Pradesh Shocker! Close relative lures 3-yr-old girl with chocolate, takes her to school, rapes and strangulates her, buries her body

Tirupati (Andhra Pradesh): In a shocking incident, a three-and-half-year old girl was allegedly raped and murdered at a village in this district on Friday night.
 
The body was buried by the accused, a close relative of the deceased girl at Yanadi colony at AM Puram village in Vadmulapet Mandal.
 
Superintendent of Police Subba Rayudu told the media that the accused Sushant (22), lured the deceased girl with chocolate and took her to a school, located on the outskirts of the village. He sexually assaulted the girl and strangulated her to death. Later he buried the body at the place.
 
When the girl didn't come home, the parents searched the surrounding areas and finally lodged a complaint. The police registered a case and immediately swung into action. The police team collected clues.
 
The neighbours told the police that they had seen the deceased girl going with Sushant. The police held Sushant and during the interrogation, he confessed to the crime. The police exhumed the body and shifted to the GGH in Puttur for postmortem, the SP said.
 
Poignant scenes were witnessed at the GGH with the grieving parents and relatives.
 
Subba Rayudu said that they would seek for the formation of a fast track court to complete the trial at the earliest and punish the accused.
 
Meanwhile, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu expressed shock and grief over the rape and murder of a three-and-half-year old girl in Tirupati district.
 
He directed the district officials to take stringent action against the perpetrator. The Chief Minister announced Rs 10 lakh ex gratia to the parents of the deceased girl. Officials said that Home Minister V Anitha would console the parents of the deceased girl on Sunday and handover the ex-gratia amount.
 
Responding to the heinous crime incident, the Home Minister expressed shock over the incident. She ordered the police officials to arrest the accused at the earliest. Anitha assured of extending all needed help to the bereaved family.
