'BJP government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has put additional burden on the people when they are already under financial crises due to Covid Pandemic. It is shocking that the fuel prices in India have reached almost Rs 100 per litre when the global crude oil prices are at all-time low. This shows the insensitive approach of the BJP government towards the people,' Mr Digambar Kamat said.

Margao Block Congress Committee would protest at the Petrol Pump near Margao Municipal Garden, Block President Gopal Naik said.

'Congress Party has become the voice of the people and have organized these Nationwide protests. I appeal to the people to participate in the protests and condemn the act of the BJP Government,' Mr Kamat said.(UNI)
