BJP claims downfall of KCR regime inching closer after TRS minister resigns

Hyderabad:The resignation of former Telangana Health Minister Etela Rajender from the ruling TRS party was a testimony for the anarchic rule of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, popularly known as KCR in the state, Telangana BJP Senior leader and grandson of former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao, N V Subhash said here on Saturday.
Welcoming the indication given by Bharatiya Janata Party National General Secretary and the incharge of Telangana unit of the party Tarun Chugh that Mr Rajender was joining BJP soon, Mr Subhash in a statement said resigning of the top leader (Etela), next to KCR, from the TRS party is indicating the downfall of Chandrashekar Rao's regime in the state.
As rightly mentioned by Mr Tarun Chugh that people of Telangana people were eager to see the BJP rule to end the dictatorial and nepotistic politics of KCR, he said Etela Rajender’s entry into BJP would bring more impetus in the fight against corruption and nepotism in the KCR’s regime.
The BJP leader expressed hope that an upright leader Etela Rajender would be instrumental in disbanding the TRS rule in the state and called upon the TRS leaders, who were up in the arms against the KCR’s misrule to join hands with the BJP under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
It may be recalled that Etela Rajender had resigned from TRS citing differences with the party and later, he was removed from his post as state Health Minister over the allegations of land grabbing last month.
Mr Subhash hinted that some more leaders from TRS were ready to follow the suit of Etela Rajender as the seven-year rule of the state government has hampered the state’s growth in all spheres.

Former Minister Etela Rajender on Saturday said that his agenda is to liberate Telangana from Chief Minister K Chandrasekahra Rao.
Speaking to media at Telangana Martyrs Gun Park, here Mr Rajender who resigned from his MLA post said that the self-respect of Telangana will win in Huzurabad by-election. He said that he had won as an MLA continuously for 17 years without defeat with the support of the people of the Huzurabad Assembly constituency.
Stating that he roared in the Assembly against the rulers of the united Andhra Pradesh, Mr Rajender said even though TRS has given B form for me but the people who won him.
Stating that the TRS party won elections by deceiving the people, Mr Rajender said people hated Mr KCR decataroship.
He said that the Huzurabad by-poll between Telangana people and KCR family.
He stated that the TRS government is looking at how to win the elections by spending hundreds of crores. But the people of Huzurabad know how to teach lessons to Mr KCR.
Assembly Speaker accepts resignation of former TRS minister Eatala Rajendar as MLA
Telangana Legislative Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivasa Reddy accepted the resignation of Senior TRs leader and former health minister Eatala Rajender, who tendered his resignation as MLA on Saturday morning.
Eatala’s resignation paves the way for another by-election in the state and also decks cleared for his (Eatala) joining in BJP on June 14.
In a notification, Secretary to State Legislature Dr V Narasimha Charyulu said that Eatala Rajendar, an elected member of the Telangana Legislative Assembly from 31-Huzurabad Assembly Constituency has resigned to his seat in the Telangana Legislative Assembly with effect from the June 12,2021.
Consequently a vacancy has arisen to Huzurabad Assembly Constituency, the Notification added.The same was conveyed to the Election Commission of India and also to the State Chief Electoral Officer.
Earlier in the day after paying tributes to Telangana martyrs at Gun Park near Assembly, along with larger of his followers, Rajedner, who represents Huzurabad Assembly constituency, has tendered his resignation letter to the State Legislature Secretary as the Speaker was not not available in the office due to Covid.
In his letter addressed to the Speaker, Rajendar, one of the senior leader of the ruling TRS, who represents Huzurabad Assembly constituency stated ” I do hereby tender my resignation of my seat in the house with effect from June 12,2021.''
Before submitting his resignation letter, Rajender told reporters ‘ our agenda was to make Telangana a free State from the clutches of Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR), who was a dictator.
He said he has been in politics for the past 20-years and worked for welfare of the people whether he was in power or not and he would continue to do it now.CM KCR has crores of rupees and he will spend to win in the election by misusing the official machinery, he alleged.
The upcoming Huzurabad assembly bypoll will be between ’dharma’ and ‘adharma’ and it would be 'Kurukshaetra', he told reporters.The former Minister said the ruling party wants to win the election by resorting to misusing power but the people of the constituency were with him.
