Hubballi: Not long ago, the BJP’s president Amit Shah eyed for a 150 plus seats in Gujarat poll. The BJP touched 100 mark with a whisker. Now again, BJP has set a target of 150 plus seats in Karnataka.
Union Minister and Senior BJP leader Anant Kumar on Tuesday said that his party will come to power in Karnataka by winning 150 seats in the election to the Legislative Assembly due in April/May.Speaking at a function organized to give the green signal for construction of a six lane road on National Highway No 4, he said that BJP wave has already begun in Karnataka and the party will win 150 seats and bounce back to power.
Criticizing the Chief Minister, he said that Siddarmaiah has remained non performing throughout five years and compared him to Kumbhakarna of Ramayana epic. He claimed that there has been total change in the attitude of voters of Karnataka and they are in favor of BJP Chief Ministerial Candidate B S Yeddyurappa.The Union Minister said that under the leadership of Mr Yedyurappa in Karnataka the party has become strong and infiltrated into all parts of Karnataka.(UNI)
